Bond is excited to expand our Legal and Compliance team, and is seeking a business-minded Commercial Counsel . As our business continues to grow, you will work intimately with teams across the company. You will also work closely with the business development, sales and marketing, contract negotiations, vendor management and other related initiatives. We are excited for what you will bring to our team!

You will be responsible for:

  • Structure, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial transactions, including partnership, licensing, and technology vendor agreements.
  • Partner with sales, strategic partnership, security, customer success, and other functions to ensure efficient and effective legal support for commercial transactions 
  • Provide strategic legal and business advice on a broad range of areas applicable to commercial transactions, including general commercial, regulatory, data protection, and intellectual property issues

You must have:

  • JD and a minimum 6-8 years of legal experience which includes top tier law firm experience before going in-house at a technology company
  • Membership in the California Bar (in good standing) or eligibility to register as Registered In-House Counsel
  • Team player with strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Excellent negotiator with proven ability to influence.
  • Clear and concise communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of privacy and data security, and some experience in financial services or fintechs is strongly preferred
