Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.

Atlassian is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join their Business Systems (Finance) team. The team is tasked with optimizing the systems and processes that drive Atlassian from Quote to cash, Procure to pay, Talent Management and Recruiting. In this role, you will establish a strong partnership with Finance Accounting and Tax teams in providing creative solutions across various financial functional domains. From a system stand point, you will be involved in various aspects of implementing exclusive automations in such a way that such solutions are built to scale with our growing business.

Responsibilities

We love business systems analysts who are appreciative, analytical problem solvers with appetite and passion to build the best-in-class, future proof design and deployments! As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for;

• Design, development and maintenance of systems implementations and automations supporting the Quote to Cash functional domain, and with specific focus on enabling Tax Service automations.

• Support integrations for quote to cash as well as tax service and reconciliation automations.

• Responsible for owning system configuration and user setup as needed. Configure fields, workflows, roles/permissions, custom rules, custom record types, reports, saved searches and dashboards.

• Develop and maintain technical design documents related to system architecture.

• You are a good fit if you have proven expertise in mapping business requirements to technical solutions and are willing to see through the finish line.

• You will also initiate and actively lead Upgrades/Releases/Deployment cycles following ITGC Change Control process and standard methodologies.

• Your personal mantra is 'bring it on' when faced with a new challenge. You have excellent written, verbal and listening skills and be able to prioritize and deliver the most meaningful things first.

More about you

On you first day, we'd love for you to have:

• 6+ years of industry experience in a Cloud based ERP/Procurement, Order to Cash with a focus on enabling automation for indirect tax determination functional domain.

• At least 2+ years of working experience on Tax focused SaaS platforms such as NetSuite SuiteTax, Avalara, Vertex, Oracle E-Business Tax, etc.

• Good understanding of tax functional components including VAT rules, Tax exemptions and Certificates in an e-commerce customer buying experience journey.

• Comfortable interacting with highly technical team members to design, project-manage and implement solutions.

• A strong analytical mindset to the team and are constantly finding ways to optimize/automate the existing financial tools and integrations

• Pragmatic and bring a relaxed, can-do outlook while dealing with ambiguity

• BS/MS in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering
