As a Senior Atlassian Systems Engineer, you will scale and maintain Ripple’s Atlassian software stack, administer JIRA and Confluence instances, build and improve workflows, automations, and integrations, and serve as a resource to all our teams around the globe that rely on our Atlassian stack, empowering them to do their best and most efficient work. You will also serve as a key subject matter expert of Atlassian products and influence the design of our solutions and overall product roadmap. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Configure and maintain the following: JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk, Confluence and other Atlassian Tools
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions consistent with industry best practices
• Serve as an Atlassian administrator/engineer and maintain responsibility for role based access management, maintenance, upgrades, enhancements to Atlassian tools, and integrations with other tools or plugins
• Serve as level 3 escalation for support requests
• Evaluate and manage the usage of all Atlassian add-ons ensuring they meet team and business needs
• Develop solutions extending Atlassian REST services and JIRA/Confluence plugins using the Atlassian SDK
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Atlassian products, administration best practices, and agile methodology best practices
• Implement solutions to enable capacity and long-term resource planning
• Provide in-depth training to business users on JIRA and Confluence features and functions
• Become a strong Atlassian community member that regularly attends community events to stay current on emerging trends and new releases

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 5+ years of experience as an Atlassian Administrator
• Experience in design, development and management of Atlassian Product Suite at an enterprise scale
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while remaining engaged with stakeholders
• Expert level experience creating custom Workflows, Issues, Fields, and Screens
• Must have a solid background utilizing an agile framework (e.g. Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban) in software development
• Demonstrable experience developing integrations utilizing Jira REST API, Familiar with HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, SQL, JQL
• Able to develop solutions that meet business requirements with a mind toward security and user experience
• Self starter with an appreciation for a thorough implementation of solutions - including gathering requirements, proof-of-concept of ideas / testing and validating that the solution meets the business need
• Team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
