The Strategic Partnerships team at Bond combines deep technical, product, and industry knowledge to help our Brand customers build and scale their financial programs with best-in-class Bank partners. As Director of Fintech Card Operations, you will accelerate Bond’s growth through management of brand implementation projects and contributing operational expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for establishing and managing detailed project plans to guide brands through testing programs to full product launch.  You will identify stakeholders and manage relationships with subject matter experts within Bond, our brands and partner banks, to ensure project planning is complete, accurate and timely.  You will provide expertise related to brand credit/debit operational processes (from application through charge-off) as a basis for project planning, and coordinate with other departments to ensure services and controls are included in test programs.  As part of the Strategic Partnerships team, you will be responsible for nurturing stakeholder relationships so they continue to grow successfully with Bond.  This role reports to the Head of Bank Program Management. 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Operations Expertise - Defining, documenting and advising on operations procedures and controls related to credit/debit card products (from application through charge-off).  
  • Due DIligence - Creating streamlined due diligence packages for Banks and Brands, as well as leading due diligence processes related to onboarding brands
  • Project Planning  - Developing detailed project plans to prepare Banks and Brands for implementation 
  • Implementation Management - Driving cross-functional credit/debit card project plans to meet critical milestones and achieve product launch within specified time frames
  • Treasury - Coordinating and managing critical Brand funds flows operations with Bond’s Finance department on accounting and treasury processes 
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management - Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Defining objectives & KPIs - Providing accurate and detailed forecasting as well as  relevant progress reporting for Bank and Brand implementation 

You must have: 

  • At least 5-7 years experience as an operations and/or integrations manager supporting consumer-facing credit or debit products
  • Detailed knowledge of financial product customer service processes, including regulatory compliance implications
  • Experience with project management and leading implementation activities across multiple functions
  • Experience managing vendor relationships related to customer service
  • Superior communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience presenting to, and influencing internal stakeholders

You also likely have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Understanding of treasury and accounting processes related to bank sponsorship program  money movement (e.g ACH, wires, settlement, payments, refunds)
  • Experience documenting operational procedures in a manner consistent with regulated financial institutions
  • Knowledge of collections processes and supporting vendors
