POSITION SUMMARY
Harness is looking for a committed Director, Product Management to drive the definition, development and adoption of our core platform capabilities, and ensure end-to-end success. This platform provides the common infrastructure services needed by all the Harness product modules including CI, CD, CE, CV and CF.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the platform experience that spans Enterprise Security (User/Role/Secrets Management, Compliance/Governance), Notifications, Search, Delegates, On-Premises Lifecycle Management and more
• Engage with customers, develop insights into what is possible, and uncover unarticulated customer needs
• Define product requirements based on customers needs, market and technology trends
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, support and field teams to drive successful product release and adoption
• Collaborate with product marketing to support creation of customer driven messaging and content requirements
ABOUT YOU
- 8-10 years of experience in product management
- Strong experience with building cloud services or SaaS technologies
- Solid understanding of AWS, GCP, Kubernetes and/or similar cloud infrastructure stacks
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills and data driven product decision-making mindset

- Software development lifecycle methods (e.g. waterfall, Agile/scrum) and typical process steps
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g. EE, CS); MBA or similar degree highly preferred
