Why Divvy?

At Divvy Homes, we're building an on-ramp to homeownership – one that's more flexible, more affordable, and an all-around better fit for today’s American family – and it’s working.

About the role

We are the platform that helps customers ease into the largest purchase of their life: a home. Within Divvy, you will lead the New Businesses product team, with the goal of launching and/or scaling three new businesses: Divvy Realty, Divvy Mortgage and Divvy Title. We will go from being a company with a rent-to-own product to a platform that customers use throughout their journey to homeownership.

The New Businesses team will be successful if we build product and service offerings that allow us to provide a differentiated home-buying consumer experience with in-house Agents, mortgage and title & escrow services. A key part of this role will be having the creativity and hustle to define, launch and scale new businesses, while also looking across teams to connect dots, signals, and align roadmaps so that the new products are effectively integrated with our core Divvy customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Manager & IC role - we are looking for candidates that are excited to both manage and IC as they are building out the team. You will start as an IC in the first 12 months and hire/add to your team as the new businesses scale.
  • Establish the product vision and strategy for your business area.
  • Develop product roadmaps and build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners (Finance, Sales/Marketing, Operations, Customer Support, etc.) and the Leadership/Executive team.
  • Implement best in class product development and management practices.
  • Outcome-oriented. Not reactionary, articulates the desired outcome and works collaboratively to create a path to achieve it.
  • Radical thinking paired with strong execution. Can envision a world different than the status quo with the ability to articulate a clear path to get there
  • Exceptional team-player that is willing to wear all hats.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product management experience. Management experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of product leadership with an ability to lead and influence teams
  • Proven track record of translating customer needs into product features and solutions
  • Highly analytical and comfortable making data-driven decisions while balancing the right approach for our community
  • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to orchestrate across teams, both yours and others’, to build and execute complex business plans and strategies
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels, from individual and team-level, up to C-suite.

Nice to have (or excited to learn)

  • Experience with leading user research sessions
  • Experience with SQL or a willingness/aptitude to learn & collaborating with product teams
  • Experience in a high growth technology company
