About the Position

TuneIn is searching for a seasoned and passionate Product Manager to lead its user retention efforts. This Product Manager will drive the strategy and execution of continuously improving the TuneIn user experience across both our free and Premium user bases.

What You'll Do

  • Investigate new ways to drive user retention by identifying tests, picking metrics, analyzing results and delivering insights to senior leadership
  • Work with Design and Engineering teams to improve and evolve the TuneIn offering to the user
  • Partner cross-company while representing stakeholders point of view to the team, and product perspective to stakeholders
  • Lead a cross-functional product team to accomplish the retention goals
  • Conduct user tests, surveys and competitive research to understand how TuneIn can build the best experience to retain our listeners
  • Coordinate with the Analytics team on retention metrics and dashboards
  • Seamlessly shift between strategic and tactical thinking in order to meet not only short-term goals but also longer-term priorities

What You’ll Need

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • A metrics-driven mindset, leveraging data and analysis to inform decisions that balance user needs and business needs
  • Strong User Experience chops
  • Experience in/around a startup or growth stage-company - you are hands-on, agile and able to adapt quickly
  • Strong communication skills and proven track record of cross-functional collaboration 
  • Empathy for user needs and a desire to provide value through technology
