You will be part of the newly formed Platform Product team at Coinbase. The goal of the team is help build products and solutions that rapidly help the company scale and expand internationally. You will be driving strategy and build for foundational product domains like Data, Trust & Safety across all portfolios of products. This role reports to the VP of Product.

What You'll Be Doing (i.e., Job Duties) 

In this role, you will be leading a team of PM’s focused on building foundational products in Data, Trust & Safety domains that are easily extensible in terms of enabling new innovative products for consumer and institutional segments & also launching in different geographies.

We are looking for driven, self motivated product leader with a deep understanding & experience in data & fraud/risk management for payments, someone who has a proven track record of building & launching product solutions for fraud prevention in the areas on stolen financials, ATO, identity management & building platforms to handle fraud and processes for obtaining fraud signals. The scope of responsibilities will include building solutions, strategies & data models for analysis of ATO, stolen financials and end to end related work flow. 

Additional responsibilities include:

• Spearhead strategy & vision to create, build & deploy innovative data & ML product solutions for new & existing products
• Manage a team of PM's across Data, Trust & Safety teams.  
• Manage & prioritize the roadmap for Data and Trust/Safety domains.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and teams to help influence & drive successful outcomes. 
• Challenge existing status quo and push for new, effective & efficient solutions.
• Work with the engineering and data sciences teams to execute, deploy, test and iterate products and solutions that drive successful outcomes for the customer and the business. 

What We Look For In You (ie. Job Requirements)

• 10 yrs or more experience working in Payments/Fintech companies & launching successful products at scale.
• Deep focus on understanding customer problems and coming up with hypothesis based  solutions. 
• Bachelors in data science, MS preferred.
• Seasoned leader with Data Products, Product Analytics, ML modeling background. 
• Ability to build strategy, prioritize & deploy new innovative solutions with focus.
• Self driven leader with excellent communication skills who can influence cross functional teams to rapidly launch products.
• Have a proven iterative test & learn mindset to launching products.
• Experience interfacing with exec leadership.
