Senior Growth Designer
At Volta we’re on a mission to accelerate the adoption of the electric vehicle. Volta creates city-wide free electric vehicle charging networks in major metropolitan areas. Our charging networks are free-to-use, free to our property partners, and monetized through brand sponsorships and digital media content.
We are seeking a Senior Growth Designer to join our Design Team to empower Volta’s internal sales teams with high quality graphics that move the needle for the sponsorship and real estate partnerships pipelines. You will be working directly with the Creative Director, Sr Brand Designer and Marketing Team to drive our brand forward on the front lines of growth. You will also be a part of a highly collaborative and passionate group of creatives who care deeply about their craft and fellow teammates.
This position will be based in San Francisco and will report to the Creative Director.
Responsibilities:
- Design collateral, leave behinds and landing pages to help convert meetings into sales
- Design and build engaging pitch decks that help bring our story to life
- Design digital campaigns including: emails, banners ads, and landing pages
- Listen to the challenges of the sales team and propose design solutions
- Showcase strategic design thinking & concepts
- Identify and communicate design roadblocks and implement solutions
- Assist in the ideation/creation of ad concepts for potential clients before big meetings
- Work with Marketing, Sr. Brand Designer, and Creative Director to help produce video assets that can be used to inspire partnerships
- Ability to help find and onboard/manage scalable talent to complete a project, as needed
- Independently run project kickoff with sales and marketing stakeholders; setting clear expectations while fostering alignment
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of design experience
- 4 year degree in design or similar field
- Excellent attention to detail Highly skilled with typography and color
- Can think conceptually and execute big ideas
- Good verbal and written communicator
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Good Communication: Can easily and clearly present concepts and the reasoning behind decisions
- Ability to take foundational brand standards and translate it into inspiring new templates and designs for collateral throughout the sales channels
- Desire to work with others and ability to onboard other designers to a project when needed
- Interested in collaboration and active brainstorming at all levels of the design process
- Drive to constantly hone your craft and to learn new things
- Strong grasp of branding
- A template Wiz, You know how to work smart to keep up with a fast paced environment
- Light experience with Motion Graphics/Subtle Motion and some interest in learning more
Bonus:
- Experience with data visualization, photo and video editing skills, a good sense of copy, a deep love for the history of transportation and/or alfa romeos and a great sense of humor are all a plus.
