Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.

The Cloud Platform team at Atlassian is transforming how companies adopt Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Trello, and more. Our team builds new offerings designed to serve the needs of Enterprise customers as they adopt our SaaS offerings. Our services are built to solve the security, administration, compliance, and governance needs of thousands of enterprise customers. Atlassian’s unique self-serve model means our shared cloud platform is critical to operating our products efficiently in the cloud. In this role, you’ll help scale that model to the largest companies in the world.

As Senior Product Manager on the Enterprise Cloud team, you will be responsible for driving our roadmap for Data Management. Whether it’s Bring Your Own Key Encryption, Exfiltration Controls, Production Data Access Controls capabilities and Processes required to satisfy a variety of need and regulations including but not limited to: HIPAA, NIST 800.53 and FedRAMP, you’ll take on big product problems and deliver comprehensive solutions.

This role requires building a deep understanding of enterprise cloud software Data Management requirements, the ability to ruthlessly prioritize them, the technical know-how and business experience to partner closely with engineering, and a cross-disciplinary team across the company to execute on the roadmap you own. You will be responsible for ensuring Atlassian cloud products are ready to satisfy the compliance needs of customers migrating from on-premises deployments.

In this role, you'll focus on:

  • Deeply understanding our largest customers requirements in the Data Management space for cloud software and building a roadmap to address their needs
  • You will be responsible for ensuring Atlassian cloud products are ready to satisfy the compliance needs of customers migrating from on-premises deployments.
  • You will define product strategy for Data Management, own end-to-end development of your roadmap, and partner with the engineering and design teams.
  • Most importantly, you will impact millions of users and thousands of partners for decades to come. While crafting outstanding products, we also bring the fun, excitement, and speed of consumer software.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 7+ years experience as a Product Management at a SaaS company, ideally with a focus on Data Management, compliance and/or Security.
  • Proven technical expertise and understanding to deliver on enterprise requirements.
  • Customer obsession – you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems because it’s what gets you out of bed in the morning.
  • Experience developing a high-level product strategy and roadmap that can span multiple years, communicating it to customers and executive leadership, and rallying a cross-functional team behind it.
  • A track record of building relationships and influencing without authority at all levels and across all areas of the organization.
  • Ability to build a compelling business case for new opportunities.

It's great, but not required, if you have:

  • BE/BS/BA with an emphasis in Computer Science, technology, IT, or operations; Masters or MBA preferred
  • Experience in taking an Enterprise-grade SaaS product through the Security and Data Management aspect of complying with one or more of these: HIPAA, PCI, FedRAMP, and other industry-specific compliance certifications
