About the Role
As a Product Manager on the Uber Eats Consumer Habits team, you'll play a key role in making Uber Eats the most seamless and convenient way for people to buy from their local stores on an everyday basis. How can we automate the consumer's purchases, so they barely need to think about them? How can we become the go-to tool for consumers to plan and manage their busy lives? You won't be alone in your endeavors. Rather you'll work with seasoned experts in personalization, machine learning, and ranking across Engineering, Data Science, and Design. In partnership with your colleagues, you'll transform your strategy into a product that scales globally. This involves considering local customer needs, cultural nuance, and competitive environments to help our business grow and retain its loyal user base. This role is a great fit for a PM with a real passion for their customers, great technical depth, principled thinking, well-honed product judgment, bold innovation, a high design bar, and a mentality of starting with the customer first and working backward.
What You'll Do:
The world of habitual ordering is vast and we are only just getting started. This is a representative sampling of the areas you might be solving on the team:
• Define, own, and execute the product roadmap for our habitual products - repeats orders, scheduled orders, and recurring orders - working closely with cross-functional counterparts.• Build experiences across the Uber Eats app that makes every day orders easy, seamless, and compelling• Work with business partners to define and implement the business strategy to scale these areas
Basic Qualifications
• Product Experience: Minimum 4+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them -- and you're deeply proud of what you've accomplished• Stellar design instincts and product taste.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working on consumer-facing products• Experience working on 0 to 1 product• Customer obsession: a clear track record of delivering elegant solutions for true user problems• Data-informed and data-savvy: You just go get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to use this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.• Structured thinking/decision-making skills: You tackle complex product challenges and simplify them• Experience working with diverse partners, including operations teams• Experience running experiments to assess the effectiveness of releases• Experience working on marketplace products• Full-stack product delivery that includes UX and backend systems
