As the nation enters into its second full month of widespread economic shutdowns because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us are wondering when we’re going to get back into the office and what things are going to look like when we do.

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci recently told company executives planning to reopen offices to “overshoot everything,” which means enforcing that employees wear masks, maintain six feet of distance and wash their hands regularly. Snap CEO Evan Spiegel told CNBC that the company is making changes to its office floor plan and may even screen employees’ health when they return.

In anticipation of these shifting norms, Salesforce announced Monday that it will release a suite of new products to help companies navigate the reopening process.

The plan is for Work.com to be a space where businesses can monitor their readiness to return across all their locations, merging data collected from inside and outside the company. Salesforce developed features like a shift management system and a contact tracing tool to help companies monitor their employees’ health and stagger their work schedules as needed. Plus, the new platform provides resources meant to mentally prepare employees for the return to the office and keep companies on track despite any strategic obstacles.

All of the Work.com features were developed with the assistance of several business, health and government leaders, according to Salesforce.

“Every company and community in the world is focusing on how to safely reopen and get to a new normal,” Salesforce president and COO Bret Taylor said in a statement. “With Work.com, we’re bringing together powerful new technology, our partners and network of experts to help organizations reopen and recover from this crisis while putting employee and visitor health and safety first.”

Work.com will be made available later this month to early June and will cost between $5 to $50 per user per month.
