The number of funding rounds for tech companies may have taken a dip in recent months, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t exciting things still happening in the Bay Area tech scene. Last week, multiple companies raised multi-million dollar rounds, many of which will be put toward hiring efforts. Here’s what you missed last week. This is the Built In SF Weekly Refresh.

CleverTap raised $105M. CleverTap is a SaaS platform that uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to help B2B professionals engage and retain customers. The company plans to use the funds from its Series D round to accelerate global expansion and product development. [Built In SF]

Truework raised $50M. Truework offers an API-enabled platform that streamlines income and employment verification for credit approvals from over 17,000 lenders nationwide. The Series C funding will be used for product development, new hires and overall growth. The company is hiring in engineering, operations and data and analytics departments. [Built In SF]

Nightfall AI raised $40M. The Series B funding led by WestBridge Capital will be used to hire new talent, increase the company’s reach and add product integrations. Nightfall’s platform uses AI to automatically detect sensitive information across internal communication channels and fix exposure risks. The company plans to double its headcount over the next year, currently hiring 36 positions across departments. [Built In SF]

Oliver Space raised $36M. Oliver Space offers a fully circular shopping experience for home furnishings. Customers can buy new or refurbished furniture for a discounted price of 20 to 50 percent. They can also trade their own used furniture for credit or have it picked up for free. The funding was led by Union Grove Venture Partners. [PR Newswire]

Forage raised $22M. The Series A funding round was led by Nyca with participation from PayPal Ventures, EO Ventures and, most notably, angel investor and Instacart founder Apoorva Mehta. The funding will be used for product development and new hires. Forage is a payment processing platform that allows online grocers to accept SNAP EBT cards. The company also helps online grocers navigate the USDA approval process to be able to take EBT cards. [Built In SF]

StartEngine and Indiegogo announced a partnership. StartEngine is a LA-based equity crowdfunding platform that allows everyday people to invest in early-stage startups. Crowdfunding giant Indiegogo is partnering with them to offer follow-on funding rounds for companies through their Series C raises. [Built In SF]

In other funding news: Expedock, a supply chain AI company, raised $13.5 million in Series A funding. The company uses AI to turn paper documents into digital data to automate invoices and statements of accounts in the freight forwarding industry. [PR Newswire]

OpenSpace added $9 million to its previous $102 million Series D round. OpenSpace uses AI to give construction project stakeholders insights from afar by creating digital twins of sites. [Built In SF]
