Software development platform Replit is valued at $9 billion following its Series D funding round. The $400 million raise was led by Georgian and will help the company advance its AI-powered solution.

“Our mission has always been that every human with an idea and an internet connection should be able to build any app they want,” Amjad Masad, CEO of Replit, said in a statement. “Georgian understood that vision early on, and their partnership has been useful as we continue expanding what builders can imagine and do with Replit.”

Replit operates an app development platform that allows 50 million users, including students, teachers and engineers, to generate, deploy and iterate on software applications within one environment. It integrates AI-assisted coding tools, runtime infrastructure and deployment capabilities into the app development process.

The company’s platform also supports integrations with enterprise systems including Salesforce, HubSpot and AWS. Equipped with its new capital, Replit plans to fuel product development, further its enterprise capabilities, expand its integrations and advance agent-driven software creation.
