Build and lead Aether’s quality control system for commercial polymeric manufacturing. Responsibilities include establishing document control, supplier qualification, traceability, inspection and sampling plans, nonconformance and corrective-action processes, lot release, and electronic QMS capabilities. Owns Aether Bio’s DoD account growth and federal funding pipeline. Responsibilities include government sales, opportunity tracking, SBIR/STTR management, grant and contract capture, proposal development, teaming strategy, consortium management, external representation, and post-award compliance coordination. The role requires strong DoD or DoE relationships, federal contracting knowledge, proposal writing expertise, and willingness to travel 30–40%.

Serve as the first dedicated IT hire for a 40-person biotech team across two Bay Area sites. Provide hands-on help desk support, manage networks and lab instrument connectivity, oversee onboarding, offboarding, assets, backups, endpoint management, identity systems, security tools, and employee training. Lead IT vendor coordination, budgeting, systems selection, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure projects. Evaluate MDM, SSO, directory consolidation, scripted provisioning, instrument data traceability, and backup reliability.

Run and maintain GPC/SEC systems to generate high-quality polymer analytical data. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaborate with materials scientists while following SOPs and ensuring reproducibility. Support method tracking and contribute to SOP updates and lab best practices.

The Marketing Communications Manager will craft compelling narratives, manage social media presence, organize industry events, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive marketing efforts.

Lead Aethers EU commercial expansion for FDM 3D printing and advanced materials across aerospace, defense, transportation and industrial sectors. Build strategic partnerships, map the EU ecosystem, drive pilots/PoCs and long-cycle technical sales, engage government agencies and research bodies, scope technical workstreams with scientists, manage pipeline, and align cross-functional teams to move prototypes toward qualification and deployment.
