Improve Earth at Astra

Astra made its first commercial launch to low orbit in 2021, just four years after the company was incorporated. And it has since made a number of advancements in the service of Astra’s mission: improving life on Earth from space. In October of 2022, Astra announced that it had committed to 200 total rocket engine orders as Astra prepared to move into a new 60,000-square-foot production facility in Sunnyvale, California — an important step in increasing access to space and thereby improving life on Earth.
