Provides administrative and customer service support for an affordable housing community. Responsibilities include greeting residents and visitors, handling inquiries, processing applications and leases, maintaining files and Yardi records, accepting rental payments, coordinating move-ins, communicating maintenance requests, distributing notices, and supporting compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and property management regulations.

Oversee operations for a multifamily affordable housing portfolio of up to 10 communities. Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, collections, capital projects, compliance, vendor and contractor management, resident relations, site visits, staff leadership, coaching, performance management, training, and coordination with corporate functions. The role requires frequent regional travel and expertise in multifamily and preferably affordable housing operations.

Partners with business leaders on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, investigations, compliance, coaching, performance management, talent development, change management, compensation, HR operations, inclusion, and people analytics. Supports multi-state unionized and non-union operations while maintaining confidentiality, legal compliance, accurate documentation, and a strong employee experience.

Assists the Community Manager with affordable housing property operations, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, bookkeeping, reporting, compliance, and staff oversight. Handles resident concerns, maintains files, processes payments, supports delinquency collection, inspects units and property conditions, coordinates resident events, and oversees operations during the manager’s absence. Ensures adherence to Fair Housing, ADA, landlord-tenant, and company policies.
