A Product Design Intern will complete a 12-week project embedded on a Coinbase product team. Responsibilities include defining user needs, creating user flows and high-fidelity Figma prototypes, validating design concepts, presenting in critiques, collaborating with product managers, researchers, and engineers, and contributing front-end changes using AI-assisted coding tools. The intern will apply human-centered design methods to solve complex product challenges across mobile and web platforms.

Machine Learning Engineer Interns will develop, deploy, and operate production-scale ML models and pipelines. They will lead an end-to-end research-to-production project, apply modern ML techniques to blockchain and crypto use cases, collaborate with senior engineers and product teams, and present findings to stakeholders. The role requires doctoral-level machine learning research, model development experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, production-quality Python skills, and software engineering fundamentals.

Build dimensional data models, SQL-based data pipelines, datasets, dashboards, and data quality tests for Coinbase’s analytics infrastructure. Partner with stakeholders to support self-service analytics, investigate data issues, and use generative AI responsibly to improve development and documentation workflows. This is a 12-week summer 2027 internship with quarterly in-person working sessions.
