Owns and scales Corcept’s global tax function, advising executives on tax strategy, international expansion, transfer pricing, entity structuring, compliance, and risk. Oversees U.S. GAAP tax provisions, filings, audits, R&D credits, indirect taxes, tax technology, and M&A tax support. Leads external advisors, cross-functional initiatives, global mobility considerations, tax accounting, and compliance across federal, state, and international jurisdictions.

Manage and improve the company’s SOX 404 compliance program, including financial reporting controls, IT general controls, automated controls, key reports, interfaces, and third-party service organizations. Lead risk assessments, walkthroughs, testing, deficiency remediation, ERP implementation controls, SOC 1 evaluations, audit coordination, training, and control environment improvements while partnering with Finance, IT, auditors, and business process owners.

Oversee revenue and cost accounting for the Endocrinology and Oncology divisions, including revenue close, gross-to-net adjustments, inventory accounting, government pricing, audits, SOX compliance, and accounting policies. Lead automation and system enhancements, partner with manufacturing and external providers, support product launches, and manage a high-performing accounting team. Ensure accurate GAAP reporting, financial analysis, operational decision-making, and compliance for a publicly traded biotech company.
