Lead the strategy and development of AI-powered tax agents for CPA firms and corporate tax departments. Partner with engineers, designers, customers, sales, marketing, and customer success to define roadmaps, launch zero-to-one products, improve existing features, and drive adoption across the tax lifecycle, including data gathering, workpaper preparation, compliance, provision, research, and review.

Lead onboarding and implementation for new Fieldguide customers, guiding them from sales handoff through value realization. Build trusted customer relationships, define success plans, cultivate champions, mitigate adoption risks, coordinate cross-functional feedback, and document progress through metrics and case studies. The role requires audit expertise or technology consulting and implementation experience, strong project management, executive communication, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple customers independently.

Lead a team of ten engineers responsible for Fieldguide’s core platform, shared services, APIs, developer tooling, deployment systems, and reliability. Set the platform roadmap and architecture strategy across SaaS, enterprise, and government-cloud environments. Partner with product, design, AI, and infrastructure leaders on platform investments, build-versus-buy decisions, engineering standards, and cross-team initiatives. Own hiring, coaching, performance management, operational health, incident response, delivery predictability, and executive communication.

Develops positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, partner content, webinars, events, and competitive intelligence for Fieldguide’s corporate internal audit product. The role connects Product with sales, customer success, marketing, and reseller channels while building buyer expertise, defining ICPs, and supporting launches, adoption, retention, and expansion.

Develop product positioning, messaging, launch strategies, sales enablement, and customer-facing content for Fieldguide’s risk advisory SaaS platform. Partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to align go-to-market teams, train sellers, support technical evaluations, manage the customer advisory board, and create blogs, newsletters, webinars, case studies, and testimonials.

Configure customer environments, migrate and validate data, translate requirements into system setups, and perform quality assurance for SaaS implementations. Support testing, issue resolution, go-live preparation, documentation, and post-launch activities while collaborating with Support, Product, Engineering, and senior consultants. Participate in customer calls and progressively assume direct client communication as implementation expertise develops.

Own customer adoption, value realization, retention, and workflow excellence for advisory and consulting customers. Configure platform workflows, translate advisory methodologies into scalable processes, lead enablement and change management, identify usage gaps, and improve engagement outcomes. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Revenue teams while providing practitioner feedback and supporting renewals and expansion.

Responsibilities include prospecting, managing strategic accounts, navigating complex multithreaded deals, exceeding revenue targets, developing account strategies, presenting solutions, maintaining CRM and forecasting accuracy, and collaborating cross-functionally. The role is remote in the United States and requires up to 30% regional and national travel.

Leads customer deployments as a hands-on engineering manager, writing production code, building AI agents and integrations, solving complex technical problems, and advising enterprise stakeholders. Builds and coaches the forward-deployed engineering team, develops repeatable deployment processes, and converts customer-specific solutions into reusable platform capabilities. The role requires experience with enterprise deployments, regulated environments, engineering leadership, and production software development.

Lead and scale Fieldguide’s forward-deployed engineering function. Own enterprise customer deployments, write production code, build AI agents and integrations, solve complex technical problems, and advise senior stakeholders. Hire and mentor engineers, create repeatable deployment processes, and translate customer-specific solutions into reusable platform capabilities. The role begins as a hands-on player-coach position and gradually shifts toward team leadership while remaining technically engaged.

Supports the CTO and VP of Product by managing calendars, preparing leaders for meetings, coordinating travel and events, organizing team offsites and company meetings, and supporting cross-functional EPD initiatives. The role requires proactive stakeholder management, strong organization, excellent communication, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and AI tools in a fast-paced technology startup.

Build and scale Fieldguide’s security function across secure software design, identity and secrets management, cloud and Kubernetes security, and agentic AI security. Leads Fieldguide’s transition to agentic audit operations by translating audit standards and professional judgment into AI workflows, documentation, guardrails, and product requirements. Owns customer transformation frameworks, adoption programs, training, and strategic account engagements. Partners with product, engineering, sales, and customer success; monitors regulatory developments; supports go-to-market activities; and represents the company with firms, regulators, standard-setters, and industry organizations.

Own quality and automation for enterprise SaaS and PaaS deployments. Build agentic workflows for bug triage, reproduction, routing, and resolution; improve automated testing, CI quality gates, environment parity, and release confidence. Collaborate directly with enterprise customers, communicate quality trends, run bug bashes, create evaluation datasets, and ship code fixes. Senior and staff scopes may include setting organization-wide quality strategy, mentoring engineers, and defining automation standards.

Build full-stack, agent-driven software for SOX control testing and internal audit workflows. Design reliable and observable LLM agent systems, create structured audit deliverables, own end-to-end technical workstreams, and collaborate with product, design, auditors, and domain experts. Engineers will help shape agentic architecture, AI tooling, evaluation practices, and product direction while working on ambiguous 0-to-1 initiatives.

As a Senior or Staff Deployed Software Engineer, you will design and build software solutions, collaborate with teams, and drive technical strategy while engaging with customers to solve complex problems.

Build and maintain knowledge and evaluation infrastructure for long-horizon AI agents. Develop production agents for complex customer use cases, analyze agent errors, and implement quality improvements.
