Leads the backend platform engineering team responsible for scalable, reliable, secure core systems. Owns platform strategy, roadmap, architecture, operational excellence, reliability metrics, incident response, and engineering quality standards. Manages, hires, and develops backend engineers while partnering with Product, Security, Customer Operations, and other engineering teams. Establishes guardrails for AI-assisted development and drives platform APIs, shared services, and infrastructure supporting company-wide product delivery.

Own end-to-end customer implementations from post-sales onboarding through launch. Lead needs assessments, translate business requirements into project specifications, manage timelines and deliverables, identify risks, and coordinate internal teams across HR Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, IT, Finance, Product, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success. Serve as the primary customer liaison, develop training materials, advocate for client needs, and support upsell and expansion initiatives.

Own the full sales cycle for Forma’s pre-tax benefits solutions, including prospecting, qualification, demos, negotiations, and closing. Build and manage a high-velocity pipeline of small-to-mid-market prospects through outbound, inbound, and broker channels. Manage multi-stakeholder deals, consult with HR, benefits, and finance buyers, maintain accurate CRM forecasts, and coordinate handoffs with Sales Engineering, Legal, and Implementation.
