Deploys, operates, and troubleshoots Vektor’s L2/L3 network infrastructure across field sites and cloud environments. Responsibilities include configuring Linux network appliances, automating infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform, managing AWS infrastructure, analyzing telemetry, supporting VPNs and routing, and conducting customer-site installations and maintenance. The role requires extensive travel, collaboration across engineering, mentoring, and approximately 11+ years of network or systems engineering experience.

Build APIs, SDKs, adapters, and integration tools for Fabric, a distributed systems platform supporting autonomous vehicles, command-and-control applications, and partner systems. Design interfaces, schemas, and compatibility patterns; develop backend services; integrate across unreliable networks; and improve testing, deployment, observability, and developer tooling. Collaborate with internal teams and external integrators, troubleshoot integration issues, document solutions, and contribute to platform architecture and roadmap decisions.

Owns Windows and Linux administration across a hybrid, multi-cloud environment. Designs and deploys enterprise infrastructure across multiple sites, administers Azure Government, Entra ID, Proxmox, storage, networking, and endpoint systems, and automates configuration with Ansible. The role also leads disaster recovery, compliance hardening, infrastructure security, on-call emergency response, and mentorship of junior engineers.
