Conducts quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation supporting student success and equity initiatives in California higher education. Responsibilities include managing large datasets, analyzing data with Stata and SQL, conducting literature and policy research, preparing reports and visualizations, coordinating stakeholders, and managing project plans and deliverables across multiple workstreams.

Leads quantitative and qualitative research, evaluation, and data analysis initiatives supporting California Community College student success, equity, and policy goals. Responsibilities include analyzing complex datasets with Stata, SQL, R, or Atlas.ti; managing projects through planning, implementation, and reporting; producing research reports, policy briefs, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations; translating findings into recommendations; advising stakeholders; and representing the organization at meetings and conferences.

Supports the full lifecycle of active grants, including contract coordination, Salesforce record maintenance, deadline and deliverable tracking in Asana, funder report preparation, meeting coordination, inbox management, SharePoint administration, and collaboration with program, finance, and development teams.

Supports higher education student success and equity initiatives through project planning, policy research, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and development of policy briefs, reports, presentations, and communications. Conducts qualitative and quantitative research, synthesizes findings, manages deliverables and competing deadlines, and collaborates with education, government, nonprofit, and system partners. Monitors policy developments and participates in relevant meetings and hearings. The position is fully remote within California with some travel.

Develop and register apprenticeship programs with employers, labor organizations, colleges, and faculty. Oversee daily program operations, participant onboarding, documentation, reporting, data entry, and records management. Interpret California education, labor, and apprenticeship regulations to ensure compliance. Provide outreach, technical assistance, and programmatic support for pre-apprenticeship and registered apprenticeship initiatives serving the Inland Empire.

Coordinates the LAUNCH registered apprenticeship program partnership with Riverside City College. Responsibilities include apprentice onboarding, documentation collection, registration preparation, recordkeeping, spreadsheet and system data management, evaluations, completion documentation, compliance support, and communication with apprentices, college staff, and internal teams.

Researches grant opportunities and writes, edits, coordinates, and submits grant proposals, contract bids, concept papers, and letters of intent. Manages grant portfolios, timelines, budgets, scopes of work, deliverables, and reporting requirements. Conducts prospect research, supports funder outreach and stewardship, maintains information systems, and coordinates with internal and external partners to develop funding opportunities.

The Specialist will manage grants administration projects, oversee compliance, provide guidance to awardees, track KPIs, and support funding applications for workforce development on behalf of California colleges.
