Leads technical vision and roadmap for Freenome’s cloud platform, designs and operates scalable Kubernetes-based systems, and drives cross-team initiatives. The role troubleshoots complex platform issues, improves reliability and cloud-cost efficiency, supports AI adoption, and builds secure infrastructure for AI and data workflows. It also mentors engineers, partners with scientific and technical teams, and remains hands-on with architecture, coding, design reviews, and operations.

Build and operate site reliability engineering practices for regulated, cloud-based production environments. Responsibilities include observability, SLIs/SLOs, incident response, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes and cloud operations, disaster recovery exercises, compliant deployments, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements. The role partners with engineering, product, laboratory, compliance, and quality teams while mentoring peers and helping establish the organization’s SRE culture.

Leads technical product management for Freenome’s commercial data platform and data products. Defines requirements, prioritizes software features, creates roadmaps, translates needs into epics and user stories, and coordinates engineering execution. Partners with commercial, laboratory, R&D, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, accessible, and data-integrity-focused solutions that meet regulated diagnostics standards, including FDA and CAP/CLIA requirements.
