Compensation + Benefits

Offers 401(K)

Guru's 401(k) retirement plan through Human Interest offers a broad selection of stocks, bonds and international index funds to choose from.

Offers life insurance

Guru offers fully subsidized, group-term life insurance with a payout of 1x an employee's annual salary for the duration of employment.

Offers disability insurance

Guru's long-term disability insurance benefit is 60% of an employee's annual salary up to a $7,500 maximum monthly payout. Employees have the option to purchase this coverage.

Offers company equity

Equity grants a core component of our compensation at Guru. We offer all employees Incentive Stock Options that vest over a four year period, as well as opportunities for additional refresh grants.

Provides home-office stipend for remote employees

Hub employees receive $500 for an initial home-office setup; Remote employees receive an increased reimbursement of up to $1,000 for an initial home-office setup.

Offers dental insurance

Guru's dental plan covers 100% of the cost of preventative care, including x-rays.

Offers health insurance

Health insurance premiums are determined by coverage level. Guru offers a 100% fully subsidized plan for all levels of coverage and, on average, covers 90% of employee and 85% of family premiums.

Offers mental health benefits

Our EAP benefit is provided by Guru at no cost to employees and can be utilized by employees and dependents. This benefit is a confidential referral and counseling service.

Offers Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Guru offers a Medical FSA (with a $1,000 employer match), a Medical Limited Purpose FSA and a Dependent Care FSA (with a $1,200 employer match).

Guru's vision insurance plan provides 100% coverage for annual eye exams with a $10 copay and lenses after a $25 copay. Frames and contact lenses are covered up to $130.
