Develop, test, debug, and document embedded firmware for reactor protection and plant control systems. Responsibilities include C/C++ firmware development, FPGA support, hardware bring-up, requirements traceability, unit and integration testing, configuration management, and collaboration with hardware, controls, systems, and test engineers. The role supports safety-related nuclear applications and requires adherence to quality assurance, software lifecycle, cybersecurity, and verification procedures.

Administer cloud and reactor-local OT software platforms, PostgreSQL databases, AWS-hosted servers, and plant operations infrastructure. Support SCADA/HMI, APIs, integrations, containerized deployments, network segmentation, access controls, backups, replication, monitoring, patching, and recovery testing. Collaborate with stakeholders to define infrastructure requirements, maintain technical documentation, troubleshoot disruptions, and support continuity of operations during cloud connectivity outages.

Leads the design, programming, integration, testing, commissioning, and lifecycle management of motion-control and mechanical-handling systems for an advanced nuclear plant. Develops PLC and industrial control software, electrical designs, requirements, safety functions, interfaces, test procedures, and verification records. Coordinates suppliers and multidisciplinary teams, supports troubleshooting and corrective actions, reviews technical deliverables, and mentors engineers while ensuring rigorous configuration control, traceability, safety, and quality.
