Leads strategic commercial initiatives and cross-functional execution as an extension of the commercial development VP. Coordinates business, engineering, operations, and corporate stakeholders; manages executive decision support, strategic programs, operating reviews, communications, accountability, risk escalation, and organizational improvement. The role translates strategic priorities into executable plans, tracks performance, aligns resources, and supports high-priority projects across a complex technical organization.

Designs and develops safety-critical analog and digital instrumentation and control hardware for advanced nuclear power systems. Responsibilities include circuit design, schematic and PCB development, system integration, prototype bring-up, debugging, qualification testing, requirements traceability, design documentation, configuration control, and technical risk resolution. The engineer applies fault-tolerant and fail-safe principles, supports Reactor Protection System hardware, collaborates with manufacturing and suppliers, and mentors less-experienced engineers.

Leads manufacturing industrialization and scale-up from R&D and pilot production to full-rate manufacturing. Develops long-range manufacturing, facility, capability, workforce, and investment roadmaps; owns CapEx/OpEx planning and lifecycle cost models; advances manufacturability, automation, process validation, and production readiness. Directs cross-functional technical teams, make-versus-partner decisions, performance metrics, operational excellence, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across manufacturing facilities and product lines.

Develop and maintain software connecting applications, databases, SCADA systems, PLCs, data acquisition systems, and industrial hardware. Build operator and engineering tools, PostgreSQL-backed applications, APIs, integrations, analytics, anomaly-detection tools, and deployment workflows. Support live industrial operations, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and software reliability improvements while collaborating with software, controls, and operations teams in advanced nuclear technology environments.

The Senior Mill-Turn Machinist will oversee multitasking machining operations, supporting precision machining of components while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include programming CNC machines, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining equipment, as well as mentoring other machinists and managing workflow.

Lead design, deployment, and integration of the Nuclear Heat Recovery Steam Generator and associated molten-salt heat transport equipment. Manage design trades, supplier oversight, technical specifications, feasibility and risk analyses, commissioning support, and a small engineering team to ensure safe, efficient commercial deployment of KP-FHR power generation systems.

The VP of People at Kairos Power will shape talent strategy, lead People operations, drive organizational development, and foster company culture during growth phases.

Lead mechanical design and delivery of reactor vessel structures, components, and interfaces. Develop and maintain requirements, design bases, analyses, and verification plans. Coordinate multidisciplinary integration, ensure compliance with codes/standards, support fabrication/inspection/testing, manage supplier technical interactions, assess risks/costs/schedule, and mentor junior engineers.
