Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for a complex nonprofit organization, ensuring accurate and timely processing, tax and labor-law compliance, reconciliations, audits, internal controls, and retirement contribution accuracy. Manage payroll through a PEO, investigate discrepancies, improve workflows, monitor timekeeping, and partner with HR, Finance, Legal, FP&A, and leadership. Serve as the primary liaison for financial, retirement, workers’ compensation, and tax audits.

Own the strategy and performance of KQED’s homepage and major landing pages. Partner with editorial, engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and events teams to curate content, define workflows, establish performance metrics, improve automation, coordinate promotions, and respond to breaking news and major events. The role also contributes to digital product strategy involving audience discovery, SEO, personalization, recommendations, and content distribution.
