KQED Benefits Overview

Manage day-to-day operations for Snap Judgment PLUS and Spooked PLUS, driving subscriber onboarding, benefits delivery, renewals, retention, and membership acquisition. Expand and publish audio storytelling on YouTube and emerging platforms, coordinate production and publishing workflows, run social, email, and web engagement strategies, track membership KPIs, and collaborate with editorial, production, and creative teams to integrate audience growth into content planning.

Lead and manage The Bay podcast team: set editorial agenda, assign and edit stories and episodes, oversee production and sound design, manage calendar and workflows, mentor staff, collaborate across departments, produce and host when needed, and ensure high journalistic and publishing standards across audio, web, mobile and social platforms.

Plan, pitch, and produce 20+ live events yearly from concept through execution. Manage speaker bookings, vendor contracts, production logistics, run-of-show, AV assets, on-site coordination, budgets, and promotions while collaborating with editorial, production, marketing, and front-of-house teams. Work evenings and weekends as needed to deliver inclusive, community-focused public media programming.
