Develop onboard autonomy for autonomous delivery aircraft operating on BVLOS missions. Responsibilities include mission sequencing, path planning, trajectory generation, fault detection, contingency management, perception and flight-software integration, simulation and flight-test validation, log analysis, production releases, and field triage. The role requires collaboration across engineering, operations, flight test, and safety teams to improve reliable aircraft behaviors.

Integrate and verify embedded hardware and software for autonomous aircraft and ground stations. Responsibilities include board, sensor, actuator, and communication integration; defining subsystem interfaces and requirements; firmware and test-code development; hardware-in-the-loop and flight testing; schematic and signal-level debugging; component evaluation; and cross-functional troubleshooting across hardware, firmware, communications, and operations.

Own and deliver full-stack web applications for operators, partners, and customers. Build backend services and APIs, define frontend architecture, ensure quality through testing and release practices, and resolve production issues. Collaborate with product, operations, backend, and safety teams to create reliable workflows in a safety-critical autonomous drone delivery environment.

Leads aviation certification and regulatory compliance for autonomous drone systems, including airworthiness approvals, compliance matrices, technical substantiation, safety assessments, FAA and international regulatory submissions, and controlled documentation. The role coordinates with engineering, flight test, safety, manufacturing, regulators, and standards bodies to support BVLOS operations, design modifications, production conformity, and new operational approvals.

Lead cross-functional technical programs across engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and flight operations. Translate strategy into executable plans, track schedules, manage scope/budget, surface risks, align vendors and partners, coordinate production/flight/regulatory milestones, and improve planning and communication processes to enable fleet expansion and market launches.

Develop and maintain firmware and embedded software for aircraft and station systems (microcontrollers and embedded Linux). Lead board bring-up, device drivers, sensor and peripheral integration, hardware/software debugging, verification, and field support. Collaborate across Electrical, Mechanical, Onboard Software, Operations, Safety, and Production to deploy and harden embedded subsystems for production fleets.

Lead product quality for the M3 aircraft from development through deployment: manage supplier and manufacturing quality, nonconformance/MRB using 8D/DMAIC, perform inspections and metrics tracking, audit and improve quality systems, manage production transfers, and partner with safety, engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory to close airworthiness gaps.

Design, implement, and harden safety-critical onboard subsystems in modern C++ on embedded Linux for autonomous BVLOS drone missions. Own features end-to-end, drive verification from simulation through flight test, triage field issues, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Safety, and Production to deploy and support production fleets.
