Own Mercor’s data platform infrastructure across Snowflake, Fivetran, Airflow, Astronomer, and Hex. Responsibilities include data organization, role-based access control, row-level security, PII masking, governed migrations, pipeline reliability, on-call support, dashboard governance, warehouse cost optimization, and CDC or streaming ingestion. The role also establishes platform standards and builds internal tooling for a new Data Platform team.

Own Mercor’s security GRC and compliance programs, including continuous SOC 2 monitoring, ISO 27001 certification, customer audits, third-party risk, policy lifecycle management, controls-as-code, data-handling procedures, and enterprise security questionnaires. Build the company’s first GRC function, automate evidence collection and questionnaire responses, manage auditor and customer relationships, and support frameworks such as HIPAA, FedRAMP, and EU AI Act conformity.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll design and maintain cloud infrastructure, build automation workflows, manage CI/CD pipelines, and improve system reliability while collaborating with product and research teams.

Own IT operations reliability, security, and scalability across identity, endpoint, and infrastructure systems. Lead evolution of Mercor's brand across external and internal touchpoints. Create high-impact visual assets (web, social, decks, events), build scalable brand systems, and partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex AI and talent concepts into a distinctive visual language.

Design, build, and operate backend systems for candidate-job matching, routing, scoring, and marketplace workflows. Develop high-throughput APIs, data models, real-time and async decisioning, and observability tools to ensure reliable, low-latency marketplace performance and scalable fulfillment.

Own Mercor’s global payments platform, including expert payouts, disbursement rails, ledgers, reconciliation, contracts, earnings, and payment operations. Partner with engineering, finance, compliance, operations, and support to improve payment accuracy, speed, reliability, cost, and retention. Define strategy, write product specifications, investigate failed payouts, build dashboards, conduct user research, and deliver scalable money-movement capabilities across markets, currencies, and regulatory environments.
