Drive adoption and commercial growth of MSCI indexes across wealth management firms, ETFs, Direct Index SMAs, and model portfolios in the Western United States. Build senior relationships with investment and product leaders, explain index methodologies and applications, support ETF and SMA launches, originate subscription and analytics opportunities, and use data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve client engagement.

Lead MSCI’s Machine Learning Center of Excellence within Research & Development. Direct PhD-level researchers developing deep learning and reinforcement learning models for systematic strategies, portfolio construction, valuation, and investment insights. Build and mentor the research team, translate AI-extracted signals into products, engage institutional clients, publish thought leadership, and collaborate with product, technology, and sales teams.

Manage a portfolio of institutional financial-services clients using MSCI sustainability and climate products. Serve as a product and domain expert, resolve inquiries, conduct account health checks, support renewals and retention, identify upsell opportunities, and develop account plans. Collaborate with Sales, Client Service, Product, and Research teams on client initiatives, training, and pre-sales activities. The role requires proactive relationship management, project coordination, and some business travel across the U.S. West Coast.

Conduct machine learning research integrating financial theory with deep learning and reinforcement learning. Develop models that transform AI-extracted signals from text, documents, and client telemetry into investment insights for systematic strategies, portfolio construction, valuation models, and new financial products. Contribute to research publications and thought leadership while collaborating with product, technology, and sales teams.

Leads advanced AI and machine learning development for financial products, including NLP, causal ML, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and generative AI. Builds production-grade models, reusable pipelines, AI evaluation and guardrails, and experimental MVPs. Owns technical roadmaps and architecture, ensures model accuracy, explainability, fairness, and compliance, and mentors engineers while communicating complex concepts to senior stakeholders.
