Implement and configure the StepWise healthcare rating platform for payer clients. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, solution design, rating and workflow configuration, SQL and Excel-based analysis, testing, client presentations, training, project scoping, pricing model development, and client relationship management. The consultant directs work segments, manages deliverables, addresses complex issues, and serves as a StepWise subject matter expert.

Lead strategic relationships with major healthcare provider clients, driving account growth, renewals, upsells, client satisfaction, and profitable revenue. Develop value propositions, negotiate contracts, coordinate matrixed internal teams, resolve service issues, manage client performance, and engage executive stakeholders. The role covers California, Nevada, and Hawaii, is remote for residents of those states, and requires 25–50% travel.

Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of secure, scalable backend applications, APIs, microservices, and data-intensive services. Build Python and PySpark solutions using Azure technologies, establish API and engineering standards, improve observability and reliability, troubleshoot production issues, and drive secure software delivery. Partner across technical teams, mentor engineers, conduct architecture and code reviews, modernize systems, and responsibly apply AI tools to development and operations.

Manages medical supply preparation, inventory, stocking, receiving, distribution, and 24-hour operations. Supervises teams of 20 or more, manages third-party distributors and DME operations, maintains inventory accuracy and stock rotation, oversees audits and technology implementation, supports budgets and supplier relationships, and drives supply chain efficiency, cost effectiveness, and supplier consolidation.

Develop and improve reliable LLM and deep learning capabilities, build scalable real-time machine learning models, advance Responsible AI practices, and define technical strategies for deep learning, RAG, and LLMs. Collaborate with AI scientists and engineers, conduct ML and reinforcement learning research, fine-tune models, and drive adoption of AI best practices across service teams.

Serve as the primary client contact for desktop services discovery, transition, and enhancements. Manage desktop support delivery, mentor staff, scope projects, work with product management, improve processes and SLAs, and handle hardware procurement while communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
