Outset AI Offices

Own product design from concept through launch, with significant responsibility for Outset’s Digital Twins and Simulations Lab. Simplify technically complex systems into clear, trustworthy experiences, collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams, create wireframes and high-fidelity designs, and maintain a high craft standard while iterating quickly. The role requires strong product judgment, customer empathy, communication, and comfort working in an early-stage environment.

Analyze company data using SQL and Python to answer business questions, maintain trustworthy data pipelines, identify data-quality issues, and build automated dashboards, scripts, Slack bots, internal tools, and AI workflows. Partner with stakeholders to define needs, evaluate AI tools, improve processes, and document solutions for broader use.

Build and maintain reproducible research infrastructure for evaluating digital-twin and large language model systems. Responsibilities include automating experiments, implementing deterministic measurement pipelines, managing versioned datasets and human-participant data, maintaining research-production alignment, monitoring evaluation validity and compute costs, and supporting documented coding workflows. The role requires strong Python, data pipeline, cloud, concurrency, machine learning, and software engineering skills, with preferred experience in LLM systems, model fine-tuning, inference serving, experiment tracking, and generative agents.
