Own the strategy and roadmap for emerging life sciences data products. Lead customer discovery, define product requirements and data-access models, establish pricing and packaging, and guide products from concept through commercialization. Partner with scientific, technical, legal, commercial, and business development teams on product development, data partnerships, governance, compliance, launch planning, and ongoing improvement.

Develop, transfer, and execute recombinant protein manufacturing processes to produce reagents meeting product specifications. Perform chromatographic purifications, QC assays, equipment qualification/validation, troubleshooting, documentation, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely, compliant production in a regulated environment.

Performs month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, account analyses, and financial statement support. Manages accounting for fixed assets, construction in process, prepaid expenses, and intangibles. Applies GAAP, supports SEC reporting, audits, SOX compliance, internal controls, contract accounting, and process improvements. Partners with FP&A and business teams, provides fixed asset guidance and training, reviews purchase requisitions, and supports accounting projects.

Develops, improves, and sustains wafer metrology processes for R&D and high-volume manufacturing. Provides hands-on production-line support, conducts statistical analyses and measurement system evaluations, investigates failure mechanisms, and drives yield and quality improvements. Collaborates with R&D, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and external partners on NPI projects. Creates technical documentation and supports semiconductor consumable production in laboratory and cleanroom environments.

Designs and delivers business-critical instrument control software for next-generation sequencing platforms. Owns complex subsystem solutions, leads architecture and implementation, resolves performance and reliability issues, and ensures hardware-software integration. Collaborates with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and systems teams; leads design and code reviews; develops hands-on in C#/.NET; mentors engineers; and drives technical projects from concept through production.

Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of Linux-based compute platforms for sequencing instruments, customer data centers, and cloud environments. Build reproducible CI/CD and image pipelines, implement infrastructure and configuration as code, integrate hardware and drivers, and establish supply-chain security, vulnerability management, and auditability. Partner with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, IT, and Field Service to deliver validated releases. Set technical direction, establish engineering standards, review designs and code, and mentor engineers.

Oversee electrical architecture for complex DNA sequencing instruments, including mixed-signal circuit boards, power and signal distribution, cables, harnesses, embedded systems, and high-speed interfaces. Lead prototyping, validation, troubleshooting, design reviews, regulatory compliance, FMEA, manufacturing transition, supplier collaboration, and reliability improvements across multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams.

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities; ensure U.S. GAAP compliance; perform technical accounting research for complex transactions (revenue, leases, equity, stock compensation); maintain SOX controls; support inventory and cost accounting; prepare disclosures and audit support; drive process improvements and finance transformation projects.
