Lead and grow Parsons' Rail Systems practice in the US West, manage large rail transit projects (> $500M), direct design/integration of signaling, traction power, communications and SCADA, drive pursuits and proposals, mentor teams, ensure systems engineering, safety certification, testing and successful project delivery.

Manages and oversees large-scale transportation infrastructure and highway engineering projects for CALTRANS and regional clients. Responsibilities include project planning, scope and fee development, scheduling, design and approval documentation, contract negotiations, quality control, client relations, and team management. Requires extensive California transportation experience, project management expertise, and a broad technical and business background. A Professional Engineer registration is highly preferred, with virtual or hybrid work available within Northern California.

Lead design and delivery of traction power and electrical systems for rail/transit projects, including substations, ductbanks, ground grids, schematics, single-line diagrams, specifications, shop drawing reviews, testing oversight, O&M documentation, and on-site inspections.

Lead multidisciplinary design teams for large rail and transit infrastructure projects. Manage project planning, budgets, schedules, contract terms, QA/QC, safety, stakeholder coordination, procurement, and construction integration from concept through final design to deliver projects meeting client requirements.

Lead systems engineering for CBTC brownfield and greenfield rail projects, managing design, procurement, testing, commissioning, and handover. Coordinate with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams to define requirements, mitigate risks, and ensure safety, performance, schedule, and quality across the project lifecycle.

Serve as on-site CBRN Lead and site manager conducting detection operations, coordinating stakeholders, maintaining equipment and documentation, delivering training, producing SITREPs and AARs, supporting fleet and logistics, and traveling frequently to support deployments and special events.

Perform installation, relocation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of NAS electronic systems (NAVAIDS, VHF/UHF, surveillance). Read schematics, use test equipment, document work, follow FAA procedures, and support field site activities with up to 100% travel.
