Lead development and continuous improvement of Pearl SCORE, owning the Resilience pillar and supporting other home-performance pillars. Develop scoring algorithms, track industry standards and technologies, engage external experts, identify scalable data sources, analyze resilience and disaster outcomes, and author technical papers, blogs, and public-facing research. The role requires residential resilience research experience, scoring or standards methodology development, strong building-performance knowledge, and excellent written and external communication skills.

Own day-to-day execution across multiple concurrent cross-functional programs. Develop detailed project plans, facilitate planning sessions, track risks and dependencies, resolve blockers, coordinate handoffs, maintain documentation in Notion, and provide portfolio health reporting. The role also helps establish repeatable project management practices in a remote-first startup environment.

Administer and extend CRM, contact center, and AI-agent platforms supporting Customer Operations. Configure workflows, routing, permissions, prompts, knowledge sources, integrations, and automations. Troubleshoot data-flow issues, monitor AI performance, document system configurations, maintain runbooks, train users, evaluate tools, and translate business requirements into reliable system configurations.

Lead advanced research and predictive modeling on residential housing and energy performance data. Apply causal inference, anomaly detection, regression, and model validation to improve Pearl’s SCORE and energy models. Develop new performance metrics, evaluate climate-risk data, collaborate with external research partners, and communicate findings through white papers, publications, and clear stakeholder explanations.

Owns Pearl’s backend, API, and data pipeline product roadmap. Translates technical changes into product requirements, acceptance criteria, release plans, and stakeholder communications. Partners closely with distributed engineering teams to resolve ambiguity, manage dependencies, coordinate deployments, validate releases, and maintain quality. The role requires strong backend product fluency, understanding of APIs, data models, pipelines, and deployment risks, plus excellent written communication and ownership from problem definition through delivery.
