Serve as the technical lead in the pre-sales process for aviation software prospects. Responsibilities include technical discovery, tailored product demonstrations, proof-of-concept ownership, RFP responses, API and integration discussions, demo environment maintenance, objection handling, and communicating customer feedback to Product and Engineering. The role also develops technical collateral, supports sales enablement, and helps onboard Sales Executives.

Sell Portside’s cloud-based aviation software solutions to business aviation, airline, and aircraft leasing clients. Responsibilities include prospecting, presenting and demonstrating SaaS products, managing client relationships, collaborating with marketing and product teams on sales strategies, monitoring industry trends, and achieving sales targets. The role is fully remote but requires travel up to 30% of the time.

Drive expansion and retention across strategic aviation accounts by building executive relationships, leading complex enterprise sales cycles, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and coordinating with product, customer success, and marketing to increase platform adoption and recurring revenue. Deliver forecasting, account plans, and market intelligence while representing the company at industry events.
