Own embedded firmware across humanoid robots, from custom PCB bring-up through driver development, feature implementation, testing, and validation. Read schematics, validate processors and peripherals, develop low-level communication interfaces, and debug hardware-software issues. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, controls, and software engineers to deliver reliable integrated systems.

Design and own well-scoped electrical boards for humanoid robots, taking projects from requirements through PCB design, bring-up, debugging, testing, and manufacturing. Support component libraries, BOMs, supply chain risk management, PCB vendors, and maintenance of robot electrical systems. The role requires strong electrical fundamentals, hands-on lab and rework skills, attention to detail, communication, and willingness to learn.

Own the robot’s power electronics and power distribution architecture, including battery management, bus switching, motor inverters, safety systems, cabling, and EMI mitigation. Define requirements, make system architecture decisions, and lead designs from concept through prototype, bring-up, testing, validation, and deployment. Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, thermal, junior engineering, and external layout resources to deliver reliable, cost-effective robotic power systems.

The role involves developing robust robot policies using reinforcement learning algorithms, enhancing sample efficiency, and applying them to real-world hardware for robotics applications.

Lead the design and training of large-scale video/world models for robotics. Develop controllable simulators and evaluate policy success. Contribute to building a flagbearer robotics company with a focus on high success rates in real-world applications.
