Staff Site Reliability Engineer responsible for setting infrastructure direction and owning availability, stability, scalability, observability, disaster recovery, and cloud costs for a SaaS platform. The role involves multi-cloud architecture, managed Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, GitOps delivery, incident response, business continuity, technical evaluations, platform migrations, and mentoring engineers. This is a fully remote U.S.-based position with an on-call rotation.

Own the end-to-end experience for healthcare professionals using ShiftKey’s marketplace, from discovering and accepting shifts through retention and repeat engagement. Define and report Professional Lifetime Value, develop retention strategies, improve reputation and discoverability, clarify earnings, and connect product decisions to unit economics. Partner closely with the facility-side product manager, finance, leadership, and distributed delivery teams.

Own and evolve ShiftKey's AI infrastructure: production retrieval/indexing, agentic platforms on AWS, graph-based multi-hop retrieval design, platform APIs, reference agents, and cost/observability guardrails for regulated (HIPAA) workflows.
