Design, build, and maintain Stellar Core, the distributed system powering the Stellar blockchain ledger and consensus. Develop scalable, resilient components; improve peer-to-peer networking and processing performance; investigate bottlenecks; and contribute to architecture, code reviews, RFCs, formal verification, simulations, and open-source collaboration. The role requires production C++ or Rust expertise, strong software design skills, and ownership of core subsystems.

Manage partner software and product integrations with the Stellar Network, coordinating engineering and business stakeholders from launch through completion. Own partner roadmaps, dependencies, risks, milestones, documentation, and program performance. Lead technical and business meetings, establish scalable program-management processes, and ensure delivery against organizational goals. The role requires strong communication, organization, problem-solving, technical fluency, and experience working with external partners in financial services and blockchain environments.

Lead the Site Reliability Engineering team by establishing the vision, mentoring members, ensuring operational excellence, and collaborating on infrastructure and tooling.

Lead and contribute to product design across Stellar’s products, set design vision, maintain and scale the design system, mentor a designer, partner with PMs and engineers, use AI-assisted workflows, and run user research and usability testing to ship pixel-perfect user-centered experiences.

Lead product strategy and roadmap across areas like core protocol, enterprise payments, DeFi, developer experience, or AI agents. Talk to users and partners, use AI to generate prototypes, partner with Engineering and Design to deliver and measure high-quality products, and balance near-term needs with long-term network health.

Stand up and own the product operating system and cadences for the Product organization: roadmaps, planning cycles, execution tracking, and PM enablement. Improve visibility, build feedback loops, capture high-quality product artifacts, and identify opportunities to automate work using AI and agentic workflows. Partner closely with Engineering and Product leadership to scale a high-performing product culture.

Provide legal review and counsel for SDF's outward-facing marketing, communications, product launches, events, brand/IP, and partner work. Draft and negotiate marketing and vendor agreements, identify and mitigate legal/regulatory/consumer protection risks, support event logistics and brand protection, and build practical legal processes, templates, and playbooks to enable fast-moving cross-functional teams.

The Backend Engineer will design and build public APIs, manage transaction lifecycles, and create a data backend for the Stellar ecosystem.

Lead business development to grow Stellar payments adoption and monthly active accounts. Build target lists, manage strategic enterprise and fintech relationships, close deals across payments, stablecoins, DeFi and RWA, and coordinate cross-functional execution to drive payment volume and wallet growth.

Design, build, and implement changes to Stellar Core while working on performance improvements, decentralization, and incentive mechanics. Collaborate on architectures and contribute to code reviews under the Stellar Development Foundation.

The Director of Research will lead the research agenda at SDF, fostering collaboration with academic and industry partners, overseeing research efforts, building a team, and translating research outcomes into practical impacts.

Design and develop key components of Stellar Core while collaborating with team members. Engage in performance optimization and ensure the system's scalability and security.

Design and execute end-to-end brand and marketing creative across digital, social, web, print, and motion. Evolve design systems, manage production lifecycles and agency relationships, prioritize concurrent projects autonomously, and present work to senior stakeholders while driving creative strategy and team process improvements.

Build and maintain end-to-end wallet products and supporting services (including Freighter). Design scalable data models, implement user-facing interfaces, develop backend services, engage with open-source community, participate in design and code reviews, and integrate applications with the Stellar network to improve wallet and financial application experiences.
