The GL Accountant is responsible for financial transaction recording, accounts receivable management, vendor invoice processing, bank reconciliations, payroll transactions, and collaborating closely with clients and controllers.

Serve as the company’s chief legal advisor, owning SEC reporting, SOX and governance compliance, managing board relations, building scalable legal operations, overseeing equity and employment matters, advising on transactions and crises, and leading legal team and outside counsel strategy.

Work hands-on with employee-owned small businesses to deliver turnarounds, transformations, and growth. Provide strategic support, coaching, and operational implementation as an advisor, co-manager, or interim manager. Travel frequently to onsite engagements and lead implementation of financial and operational changes.

Source and qualify lower-middle-market acquisition opportunities, build referral relationships with bankers and brokers, own CRM and reporting, perform historical financial underwriting and normalization, run discovery calls, prepare deal summaries and workbooks, and support LOI preparation under senior guidance.
