Integrate autonomy and vehicle subsystems into a reliable platform for heavy-equipment robots. Develop across sensor interfaces, communications, diagnostics, system services, backend tooling, IPC, OTA deployment, and testing. Validate multi-team systems on real hardware, debug Linux and networking issues, and collaborate with firmware, perception, and controls teams. Participate in occasional remote support rotations.

Leads the autonomy organization and owns the end-to-end autonomy stack for heavy construction equipment. Responsibilities include architecture, perception, planning, controls, simulation, learning-based autonomy, MLOps, fleet coordination, safety cases, field deployment, roadmap development, hiring, and team management. The role requires hands-on robotics software expertise, physical-vehicle deployment experience, embedded ML deployment, and leadership across multiple autonomy disciplines.

Lead the transition from hand-tuned MPC to learning-driven control policies, design and integrate learning-based controllers, define interfaces with classical control, validate policies, and ensure safe real-vehicle deployment.

Own and professionalize Teleo's full-stack platform: consolidate internal and customer-facing apps, build backend services (Python/Node.js on AWS), develop React/TypeScript frontends, enforce API/CI/CD standards, manage IaC, and integrate with hardware via REST and WebSockets.
