Decarbonization has been on Apoorv’s mind since leaving high school — and by co-founding WeaveGrid in 2018, he’s built a growing team around a shared passion. “Do not struggle for more than 20 minutes by yourself before asking for help,” is a motto Elissa’s team uses. That idea helps them tackle ambitious projects, such as a grid-friendly “electric vehicle managed charge solution.” “We’re currently participating in a pilot program that’s utilizing electric vehicle charging to soak up extra wind energy on the grid,” Elissa said.
