Rippling is the first way for businesses to manage their HR & IT — from payroll and benefits, to employee computers and apps — all in one, modern system.
In just 90-seconds, a company can set up (or disable) an employee’s payroll, health insurance, work computer, and third-party apps, like Gmail, Microsoft Office, and Slack. It’s the only platform that truly unifies every employee system, and automates all of the administrative work.
Rippling is headquartered in San Francisco and has raised over $200M from top-tier investors, including Founders Fund, Greenoaks Capital, Coatue Management, Kleiner Perkins, and YCombinator.
The Customer Enablement team’s goal is to make our customers self-sufficient during every product interaction. We do this by building customer resources across our Help Center, education program, and customer community. We expose these resources to customers at their moment of need.
As a Content Strategist, you’ll write customer documentation in our Help Center and identify ways to make our content more discoverable. We’re looking for someone who can communicate complex concepts clearly and succinctly, and is eager to shape the direction of our knowledge base.
What you’ll do
- Document new products and features
- Identify and close content gaps for existing products alongside Support & Product
- Organize our documentation; find opportunities to make resources more discoverable
- Identify opportunities for product redesign or tighter in-product linkage to content
- Review success metrics across Help Center traffic and Support ticket data
- Evangelize the Help Center internally; inspire other teams to contribute to our knowledge base
What we’re looking for
- Ability to synthesize large, complex problems into simple, easy-to-understand concepts
- Strong written communication (content is clear, succinct, logical)
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage expectations and maintain focus
- Demonstrated ability to navigate an ambiguous environment where the answer is not clear
- Grit; a sustained history of hard work and perseverance
- Curiosity; a bias to constantly question, dig deeper, and learn
- Nice to have: Technical writing background
Even if you don’t meet all of the requirements listed here, we still encourage you to apply. Skills can be used in lots of different ways and your life and professional experience may be relevant beyond what a list of requirements will capture.
