About the Role

Lyra Health is looking for a mental health clinician with exceptional writing skills, dynamic public speaking abilities, and deep knowledge of evidence-based therapies (EBTs), to develop psychoeducational programming and clinically-informed marketing content. This role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with internal partners and employers to develop and present learning content that demonstrate Lyra's thought leadership on mental health in the workplace with clarity, clinical accuracy, and research-backed insights. In addition to shaping content creation, this role will contribute to hiring, onboarding, and training of clinician presenters and facilitators of DEI&B-informed mental health programming.


The right candidate will demonstrate the ability to translate EBT principles into engaging, easy-to-understand content, will have a track record as a trusted subject matter expert on a broad array of mental health and behavior change topics, and be knowledgeable about quality improvement and program evaluation to help develop efficient operational processes, scale the development and delivery of educational content, and assess the effectiveness of our programming against KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine content strategy and content guidelines that ensure representation of marginalized social identities, not limited to but including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and differently-abled individuals in Lyra’s psychoeducational materials for members
  • Design employee- and leader-facing educational trainings and learning materials at the intersection of DEI&B and mental health
  • Present psychoeducational trainings and facilitate discussion-based group events on topics pertaining to social identity and mental health
  • Consult on best practices for supporting employee wellbeing and optimizing organizational programs and policies regarding mental health across diverse workforces
  • Contribute to the hiring, onboarding and training of clinician presenters and facilitators of DEI&B-informed mental health programing 
  • Assess learning and development needs using surveys, interviews, and ongoing communication with key stakeholders
  • Assist with the design of learning evaluation and reporting of training outcomes to key stakeholders
  • Help oversee quality assurance for Lyra’s presenters and facilitators

Requirements

  • A graduate degree (MA, MS, MSW, PhD, or PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or clinical social work 
  • Demonstrated expertise on topics related to DEI&B and mental health, including culturally responsive mental health care and psychoeducation for underrepresented identity groups
  • Expertise on evidence-based practices (EBPs; e.g. CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing) and ability to explain EBPs fluently and clearly
  • Professional experience working with external stakeholders as a consultant or subject matter expert on mental health and/or organizational behavior
  • Experience with developing engaging psychoeducational content for live presentations
  • Dynamic, charismatic presentation style and comfort with presenting to audiences of all sizes, virtually and in-person
  • Experience supervising and providing supportive, constructive feedback to clinicians or instructors
  • Familiarity with presenting on most commonly used corporate webinar platforms, including GoToWebinar,Zoom, Google Hangouts, Blue Jeans, and Cisco Webex
  • Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with multidisciplinary colleagues and designers on content creation
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the face of strict writing deadlines

Preferred

  • Formal experience teaching curriculum focused on topics pertaining to diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion
  • Prior work developing and managing train-the-trainer models for training programs
  • Experience with e-learning content creation and use of learning management systems
  • Training and/or experience in program evaluation methods for mental health programming
