IT Ops Content Manager

The IT Operations team is comprised of Global Service Desk , Systems Engineering, Global Office Expansion, Compliance, IT Procurement, Litigation Support, Infrastructure and A/V. Content Management is a new facet of IT Operations and will work closely with each team on various projects. We are searching for an individual to lead the ongoing development, training, publishing, and governance of employee-facing and internal content created across IT Operations.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Responsible for day-to-day management of IT’s knowledge base program, including providing direction, decision making and change management.
- Monitor and manage content reporting, metrics, and feedback focusing on increasing efficiency across the enterprise and work deflection via self service content
- Work closely with key team members and stakeholders to identify and publish valuable content designed to educate and inform internal customers.
- Design and support new and improved content solutions
- Participate in our IT Operations Agile project sprints including managing the backlog for new content being developed and old content that needs refreshing.
- Develop and maintain Content Strategy documentation, including but not limited to definitions of substance, policies, standards, governance model, program procedures, tools and templates.
- Assist individual IT Operations teams with prioritization of content and help them put together a publishing roadmap.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate complex issues to a non-technical audience at multiples levels within the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on superior customer service; ability to develop and foster knowledge networks and build relationships, both internally and externally
- Service-oriented self-starter who takes initiative; strong sense of ownership and sense of urgency to drive tasks to completion
- Strong experience with Atlassian tools, specifically Confluence. LMS is a plus
- Experience managing medium complexity projects from planning to completion
- Experience running content management programs, technical writing, and/or copy editing experience
- Experience using data to track content efficacy and performance
- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment, and at times ambiguity and short turnaround
Nice to haves:
- Experience in a Remote-first IT environment
- Technical experience in OSX, iOS, Android, and Chrome OS operating systems
