The Proposal Writer is an integral part of the Go-To-Market Team and is responsible for developing meaningful, effective proposal content that directly impacts the growth of our business. The Proposal Writer provides exceptional writing, editing, and project management support to ensure the timely development and completion of high-quality proposals. Outside of assigned RFx projects, the Proposal Writer is required to contribute to ongoing improvement efforts, including assisting in the upkeep of our RFP answer library and working with internal subject matter experts to keep our response content and attachments up-to-date. The Proposal Writer has excellent writing, editing, and project management skills; a sharp attention to detail and deadlines; and experience in healthcare and/or technology. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide a broad range of support on assigned RFx projects, including response population, writing, editing, project management, and production
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop strategic and responsive proposal content
  • Assist in maintaining the RFP answer library, including adding new content, updating existing records, and facilitating regular review cycles with SMEsPartner with Corporate Marketing on a variety of content development projects including white papers, case studies, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3-5 years’ experience in proposal writing, marketing, communications, technical writing, or related field
  • Experience with healthcare and/or technology strongly preferred
  • B2B content development experience strongly preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain seating in a stationary position roughly 50% of the time, as well as the ability to move about
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., picking up computer / laptops) may be requiredGood manual dexterity required to use common office equipment (e.g., computers, laptop, and mobile devices)
  • Some business travel may be required.
