Addepar Client Data Onboarding Specialists are responsible for supporting client’s portfolio data aggregation authorization and onboarding experience. As part of the Services organization, specialists are responsible for guiding new Addepar users throughout the data feed onboarding process, communicating with data partners, and executing on internal operational tasks to authorize data to respective client environments. This role is also responsible for determining and validating the custodial profile of prospects, collaborating with clients on their unique requirements, and working with custodians and other data providers to ensure newly-authorized data is flowing into Addepar’s systems. 

Individuals in this role will contribute to improving Addepar’s overall data authorization process and growth strategy as we continue to scale our clients and data aggregation offerings. This proactive, organized, and operationally savvy individual will play a key role in Addepar’s ability to obtain mission-critical data in a timely way. 

At Addepar, Data Aggregation is crucial to client success and often the first experience for new clients. Addepar currently supports over 260+ unique data feeds with access to over 2000+ financial institutions across the globe. 

Responsibilities

  • Consult and train new Addepar clients on initial onboarding and authorizations (LOAs)
  • Execute on internal operational workflows to properly manage risk and authorize data to the appropriate environments 
  • Manage multiple competing projects and initiatives across our client base, including large enterprises, RIA, and Family Offices 
  • Communicate and set expectations efficiently with competing stakeholders including clients, data providers, and internal teams across Services, Sales, and R&D 
  • Contribute to improvements on best practices and gold standards associated with data feed onboarding
  • Maintain and update client-facing collateral and training materials
  • Support and foster relationships with key contacts at custodians and other data providers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scale and grow the data authorization process, tools, and client experience 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology or related field 
  • 3+ years experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Financial Technology in external facing role 
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and critical thinking skills 
  • Experience writing procedures and updating internal shared documentation 
  • Proven ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously in fast paced environment
  • Demonstrates effective problem solving abilities, self-motivation to take on responsibility, and a strong team-player mentality
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to new demands; strong sense of urgency and bias for action
  • Understanding of data authorization and Letters of Authorization (LOA) is a plus
  • Experience with SaaS products and services is a plus 
  • Experience working with Salesforce is a plus
