The Role:
Carrot is seeking a Proposal Support Analyst who will work cross-functionally across the Sales, Business Operations, Product, Global Solutions, and Customer Success teams to assist in the writing, editing, and production of competitive proposals. The individual will liaise with the Product team to ensure that proposals are reflective of Carrot’s information security, product, and engineering capabilities. This will involve heavy support to the Information Security team by assisting with initial draft responses to Vendor Risk Management/Security Questionnaires. Additionally, the Proposal Support Analyst will be responsible for reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), and identifying key compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate is an experienced writer and/or editor with an exceptional attention to detail. They have experience taking complex, technical information and translating it into an easily digestible narrative for various audiences.
The Team:
The Proposal Support Analyst will sit on the Sales team, reporting to the Proposal Manager, and will work heavily with members of the Product team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (i.e., English, Technical Writing, Communications, Marketing)
- 1-2 years technical writing and/or editing experience
- 1+ years of Information Security exposure and knowledge of security practices
- 1-2 years experience working in a technology-related field and possess practical knowledge of risk management and IT security framework
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years proposal or contract management exposure
- Practical knowledge of data privacy and HIPAA/HITRUST requirements
- Experience with Vendor Risk Management/Security Questionnaires
- Experience in a healthcare-related field preferred
