  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent)

  • Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java or Go.

  • Prior experience in software development: this could be work experience, internships/co-ops, or substantial open-source project work

  • Self-motivation and eagerness to learn; ability to make an impact while working with a high degree of independence

  • A high degree of dependability and strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One or more software engineering/development internships completed at a reputable company

  • Proficiency with Python

  • Proficiency with React.js and TypeScript
